On 11 February, the University of Tartu Library hosts the Estonian Doctoral School’s career conference “The value of a doctoral degree on the job market” where top professionals with a doctoral degree and current doctoral students discuss the added value of doctoral studies.

On 16 May, the Estonian Doctoral School Career Conference will be held in Tallinn to discuss the value of doctoral studies and the career prospects of doctoral students. All Estonian doctoral students and those interested in doctoral studies are welcome to attend.

At Delta Career Day, held at the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club on Thursday, 3 March from 11–16, students can meet reputable employers in their field to find a future traineeship or job.

Industrial Master's Programme in Quantitative Analysis a study format offered to master's students of the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of UT, in which half of the student’s studies take place at a partner organisation. Since a lot of master's students already have a job during their university studies, the Industrial Master's Programme enables the student to combine one's studies and work in a more efficient way.
