This autumn, doctoral researchers of the University of Tartu will again have the opportunity to participate in the three-minute thesis competition. The competition will be held on 21 October in the conference hall of the University of Tartu Library.

0n June 5th at 16.15 Jaan Kristjan Kaasik will defend his thesis “Diameter two properties and almost square properties in Lipschitz-free spaces and spaces of Lipschitz functions”.

Led by University of Tartu researchers, the largest and most comprehensive study to date has been completed on how genetic differences between individuals influence metabolism.

On November 27, Sirje Pihlap defended her doctoral thesis "The impacts of the GeoGebra dynamic geometry program on the learning of functions in lower secondary school".

The general assembly of the Estonian Academy of Sciences elected seven new members of the academy, including six from the University of Tartu.
