In September, a new round of the business development programme “From Science to Business!” starts, aiming to help researchers commercialise their research results. Registration is open until 14 September. The kick-off of the programme takes place on 24 September at 16:00 at the Delta academic building in Tartu.
The programme is intended for researchers or members of research teams who want to assess the business potential of their research idea or are looking for ways to commercialise their research results – a product, a service or a technology. During the ten-week programme, participants get practical knowledge of entrepreneurship, meet mentors and experts, and present their ideas using elevator pitch techniques to potential partners and investors at the demo day.
The seminars take place from 24 September, usually on Wednesdays, from 16–18 at the Delta centre in Tartu. Participants meet for the seminars in the demo room (1030). The programme ends on 5 December with the presentations of business projects at the Delta centre.
Participating in interactive seminars usually requires physical presence in Tartu, but we also offer the option to join online. The seminars are in Estonian or English, depending on the participants.
See the programme's website for a more detailed description of the programme and the schedule. Registration is open until 14 September.
